CHATEAU VALENTONS CANTELOUP BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR

CHÂTEAU DES VALENTONS CANTELOUP AND THILEDE GRILLON
Bordeaux supérieur and Clairet, in Saint Loubès

Meynard’s’ family is producing wine from 1916. Today,
Jacques Meynard cultivates 27 hectares of vines in
sensible crop protection farming, trying to keep a traditional Bordeaux
style for some wines and creating modern style, more
on the fruit for the others.

Château des Valentons Canteloup, located in
Saint-Loubes, 15 kilometers from Bordeaux, between
Garonne and Dordogne, is planted of 65% merlot,
20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet franc.
Low yields, short cut and disbudding are done to get
premium quality grapes.
