Meynard’s’ family is producing wine from 1916. Today, Jacques Meynard cultivates 27 hectares of vines in  sensible crop protection farming, trying to keep a traditional Bordeaux style for some wines and creating modern style, more on the fruit for the others.   Château des Valentons Canteloup, located in Saint-Loubes, 15 kilometers from Bordeaux, between Garonne and Dordogne, is planted of 65% merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet franc. Low yields, short cut and disbudding are done to get premium quality grapes.
	The range:   Château Thilède Grillon 50% Cabernet Franc/ 50% Merlot Fruity and supple.   Château de Valentons Canteloup 2000/2001/2002/2003/2004 Supple, well structured and fruity		Chateau des Valentons Canteloup Clairet 2005 Dark rosé, very aromatic with strawberry and cherry notes.   Château des Valentons Canteloup Cuvée Excentrique 2003 70% Petit Verdot / 30% Merlot Surprising wine with an unusual blending. Made only  the best years. Full bodied, long in mouth, slightly oaky.
